Hi, I’m Steven M. Christiansen, MD – founder of EyeSteve.com.
In April 2012, I suddenly awoke from a deep slumber with the crazy idea of starting a blog. With the help of a talented graphic designer (itssodesign.com), EyeSteve.com was begun, with the mission to “educate, inform, and inspire all things eye.”
Since that time, this blog has allowed me to rekindle a childhood love for writing and to foster a deeper connection with my patients and my colleagues. The greatest success, however, for this seemingly meaningless blog is the way it has, in some small way, provided meaning for anyone who has connected with a particular article, provided advice or direction to others interested in the field of ophthalmology, and allowed my colleagues to share their insights via guest posts with the online world. My hope is that EyeSteve will continue for many years to come, as a forum for anyone interested in ophthalmology to share their thoughts, their unique ideas, compelling insights, or educational experiences. If you have something to share, please reach out and email me at steve@eyesteve.com or connect with me on social media. I would love to hear from you. Thanks for visiting EyeSteve.com – please return again soon.
